Lakeside Fisheries

Lakeside Fisheries is an eco-friendly specimen coarse fishery situated in Marton, Blackpool.
The lake is a 100 year old spring-fed former clay pit, continuously owned by the same family.
Set in landscaped woodland with purpose-designed fishing pegs, Lakeside Fisheries is a real haven from the bustling outside world.
A continuous rolling stocking policy ensures a good head of Carp (common, mirror, cruscian, ghost, wild & koi), Bream (silver & golden), Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Ide, Chubb, Golden Orfe and Eels.

Annual private memberships for People over the age of16 are still available. Your Membership runs 12 months from Subscription Date.
As a Member of this club, you will receive your own private key, Membership card, and free secure car parking.
Your Card (which must be on your Person when at LAKESIDE) entitles you to Fish 24 hours per day,7 days a week
for your membership period ,With a Maximum of Two Rods.

12.1 Every effort should be made to cultivate the goodwill of landowners by respecting their property. Members shall, at all times remember the ' Country Code', and particular that:
12.1.1 All gates should be left secure and any deviation from this reported as soon as is reasonably possible ,upon entry nets and end tackle should be dipped and rinsed, where provided .Lakeside Fisheries specific parking, for caravan designated areas must be observed.
12.1.2 All litter and unused bait should be taken away, and this includes broken line which, if left lying about, creates hazards for livestock and wildlife.
12.2 Any member doing wilful damage shall be called upon to appear before the Committee, who shall have the power to warn, suspend or expel such member.
12.3 members are allowed to take one guest.
(Daylight hours only) for a fee of 10 Pounds.

at all times, by the rules and restrictions imposed on members. The member bringing the guest must remain with him or her at all times and will be held responsible for his or her behaviour.

12.6 In order to avoid damage to Specimens, a DE-Stressing mat of at least the dimensions laid down by the Environmental Agency, Should be used to de-stress the fish before return to the water; Also, the use of double or treble hooks is forbidden.
When unhooking, the use of a disgorger or forceps is strongly recommended as is the possession of anti fungal fluid for the treatment of injured fish; the most commonly available of which is CLINIK
12.7 All fish caught at Lakeside to be returned alive.

12.9 To comply with the Rivers Authority by-law effective from 1st September 1987, members are encouraged to use non-toxic alternatives when using shot in sizes larger than No 8.
12.10 Members fishing any water under the jurisdiction of the Environmental Agency, must be in possession of the appropriate current licence, which should be carried at all times for inspection by the land owner, or the above agency.
